Local surfaces
Local surfaces is a collection of textiles developed from natural materials collected in a sustainable way within a 5km radius of my studio in Brittany.
They are hand-woven and assembled using responsible natural materials (e.g. linen thread, fish glue).
Local surfaces est une collection de textiles développés à partir de matériaux naturels collectés de manière raisonnée dans un périmètre de 5km autour de mon atelier en Bretagne.
Ils sont tissés à la main et assemblés grâce à des matières naturelles responsables également (ex. fil de lin, colle de poisson).
Intended for interior decoration, they will take the form of decorative panels/wall textures and will be integrated into design objects (screens/lighting, etc.), each time adding a touch of naturalness and celebrating a new craft that wishes to combine responsibility and environmental awareness.
Destinés à la décoration d'intérieure, ils prendront la forme de panneaux décoratifs/textures murales et s'intégreront à des objets design (paravents/luminaires,...) ; apportant à chaque fois une touche de naturel et célébrant un nouvel artisanat souhaitant allier responsabilité et conscience environnementale.
